About
Standing on the Weeks Footbridge over the Charles River. It was early fall and the sky was a pure blue. Fair weather clouds drifted above and were reflected in the river below. Eights glided through the water, bodies and oars moving together. The shells looked like they were flying through the clouds.
I remembered my college rowing days. The intense physical work, the early mornings and frozen afternoons on the river. The feeling, very close to flying, when the boat achieved swing.
I designed these posters using the photographs I took that day in Cambridge. I hope they remind you of what you love best about rowing.
